About Us
In 2016, t-shirt company, MESS in a Bottle was started in a small row house in Baltimore, Maryland and quickly grew into a house-hold, nationally recognized apparel brand. In 2020, at the beginning of the pandemic, MESS moved into this 2,000 sq ft location in the heart of the Mount Vernon area of Baltimore City, calling it home. Kalilah Wright, founder of MESS, not only fell in love with the neighborhood, but the area reminds her of her hometown of Brooklyn, New York. For the past 5 years, Kalilah has called the shop the home of MESS. She is now ready to open her space to other creatives who are looking for a space to house and make r their own MESS. Kalilah remembers how difficult it was to establish a home for her business as a budding entrepreneur and wanted to create a collaborate space to share our MESS. together.
